Description
I have done this meme for years and I really feel like this is one of the best years for me. Mostly because I finally have opened myself up to people that want to help me better myself and now I really started to grow. It's hard at first to accept critique to one's own art because it's such a personal thing and you work on it for hours and hours. But, it's so good to open up to learning what you can do next time! I'd like to apologize to anyone I've snapped at before who has tried to help me (I agree I was a little shit about it!), if any of you want to give me advice on how to better myself, don't be shy, and anytime! I'm always looking to grow. 
I really have done a lot of growing overall on everything I feel and I have some folks to thank for it!
Mostly
for taking me on as her intern from June to November. She has been amazing, showing me how to better my composition, character design, anatomy, background and item design. There's so much more that I can't remember because there's SO MUCH.
She also has introduced me to trenchfoot (Liv Hathaway) who does amazing paintings! She taught me color modulation which is a skill I seemed to catch on the fastest to!
Also I became better acquainted with skulldog who taught me a lot about design (through me painting over her sketches for jobs alone) and a LOT about values and techniques to balancing light and shadow within my pieces.
She also introduced me to Laura who taught me Adobe Illustrator (such an important program to know for professional illustrators and artists!) and Jason who taught me how to use Spine (an animation program) and the technical ins and outs of prepping assets for video games. They also were on the Monster Stacker team that I worked with.
This year I have:
-Done a couple book covers
-Worked on 3-4 games
-Did artwork for kid's craft kits
-Did artwork for board games
-Worked on concepts for a comic
To improve I have done:
-Master Copies of famous paintings
-Drawn animals at the zoo
-Done daily figure drawing from pixelovely.com
-Used a LOT of reference (still do on every project, don't stop doing this!)
And more.
It doesn't stop there. I can't wait to see where 2014 takes me c:
